This job involves supporting victims of sexual assault in the U.S.
Marine Corps by providing emotional guidance, coordinating resources, and ensuring they receive proper follow-up care until their needs are met.
It also includes running awareness campaigns, delivering training on policies and reporting, and managing cases with sensitivity to trauma.
A good fit would be someone with experience in victim advocacy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping others in crisis, ideally with a background in social services or counseling.
You will serve as a SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE COORDINATOR in the Office of Force Resiliency of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide non-clinical response that is trauma related, gender responsive, culturally competent, and recovery oriented for both military and civilian; inform victims of the resources available and manage reports of retaliation, reprisal, ostracism, maltreatment, and sexual harassment: develop and collaborate with stakeholders on public awareness campaigns and community outreach events; and plan, schedule, and deliver comprehensive training for a diverse audience to cover SAPR policies, procedures, reporting options and other topics.

Additional Conditions of Employment: You must be able to obtain and maintain an active D-SAACP certification in accordance with (IAW) Section 584 of Public Law 112-81 and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 6495.03 as a condition of employment, and any subsequent policy updates applicable to this program.
You will be required work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, in an on-call or rotational basis.
The on-call or rational status requires varied work hours, to include a requirement to be available 24/7, to respond to the following, but not limited to: calls received via the helpline, from military/civilian law enforcement, from treatment facilities or local hospitals.
