Job Description

The Service Desk and Performance Reporting Manager reports to the Workforce Development Division in Columbia and oversees a team of business analysts.

This position is responsible for overseeing the state case management and labor exchange system help desk.

The incumbent will serve as a liaison between Information Technology (IT), state, and local workforce program staff.

The Service Desk and Performance Reporting Manager will also be responsible for managing federal performance reporting for multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Desk and Performance Reporting Manager will:

  • Oversee daily operations of the SC Works Online Services (SCWOS) Service Desk/Help Desk.
  • Manage Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), ensuring the ETPL is administered in compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Lead the analysis of workforce program data to support effective program oversight and operations.
  • Work with other departments in an ongoing role to ensure program-specific reporting needs are met.

Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience or the equivalent of education and experience. Must have at least three years of personnel management experience.

Must be able to read, research, understand, and communicate the federal reporting and management system requirements for several workforce programs.

Additional Requirements

Additionally, this position must have adequate experience and understanding of systems to provide valid analysis of information and communicate business requirements to systems and program personnel at the state and local levels in a professional and clear manner.

Qualifications

Knowledge of programming and statistical software is preferred.
