Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing security programs for a Marine Corps unit, ensuring classified information stays protected during daily operations, deployments, and emergencies, and coordinating with teams to maintain secure systems and facilities.
A good fit would be someone with experience in security management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a military environment, especially if they're comfortable with overseas assignments like in Japan where medical access is limited.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, administrating, and managing all phases of the command security program; maintaining comprehensive databases of personnel security information; AND providing security policy guidance and education.
