Requirements

In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the hospital and its property.

Your responsibilities will include making routine enforcement decisions, managing firearms, supporting emergency response personnel, and overseeing traffic and parking control.

You will conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols, manage access control, and perform thorough interior and exterior security checks.

The role also involves investigating safety and security incidents and ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.

Through your vigilance and professionalism, you will help preserve order among consumers, staff, and visitors while safeguarding the hospital and its property from risks such as fire, theft, and vandalism.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM), with rotating days off and a paid 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
• Overtime and travel: As operationally necessary
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirement:

• You must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
