This job is for a security officer at a center in Pennsylvania, where you'll patrol grounds and buildings to keep everyone safe, respond to emergencies like fires or accidents, and handle transportation for staff and students.
You'll also manage front desk duties and communicate via radio. It's a great fit for someone reliable and detail-oriented who enjoys hands-on work in a supportive team environment.

Within this role, you will work under the supervision of the Security Officer 2 and take responsibility for the safety and welfare of center students, the general security of the buildings and grounds, and transportation of clients or related program concerns.
Work involves patrolling the grounds and facilities by foot and motorized vehicle to observe operations and report any suspicious, illegal, or unsafe activities to the supervisor.
You will also respond to and assist at all fire or accident calls, and assist responding fire and ambulance vehicles, as needed.
Various transportation duties are required and include transporting staff, students, and property throughout the campus grounds and off-grounds, as necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital in this position, as you will also provide general receptionist duties in the lobby and relay information via radio intercom.
