Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading teams to create and defend detailed cost estimates for complex naval communication and information systems, including hardware and software for ships and shore bases.
You'll advise on government acquisition rules, analyze risks, and represent the Navy in meetings with contractors and other agencies.
It's a great fit for someone with strong analytical skills, leadership experience in cost analysis, and a background in defense or engineering projects.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a wide variety of cost estimating and analysis functions, leading a team to develop and defend cost risk analyses, and advise various program offices on acquisition policies and regulations.
