Administration of the SC Need-based Grant program, including Foster Care Youth, to include program management/operations.
Understand the goals and objectives for the Need-based Grant program and the necessary tasks for producing critical deliverables within deadlines.
Must demonstrate a high level of success in the management of the SC Need based Grant Program. Responsible for providing data and reports regarding these programs.
Compliance with comprehensive state regulations and appropriate reporting and record keeping in accordance with agency and state audit principles/procedures.
Preparation of SC Need-based Grant program and other grant program policies, procedures, regulations and reports for the Director and other coordinators, Commission staff and legislators, state agencies and the public at large.
Primary responsibilities for administering the SC Education Enhancement program.
Provides administrative procedures for reviewing Education Enhancement applications and determining eligibility in compliance with state statues/regulations.
Execution and completion of state and agency report in a timely and accurate manner.
Develops and updates SC Education Enhancement Program regulation(s), policies and guidelines, reports/information for Division Director, the Executive Director, Committee and Commission approval.
Responsible for providing and updating Enhancement data as needed.
Primary responsibility for overall Scholarship Appeals process/procedures including receipt and preparation of scholarship appeals, communications and dissemination of appeals to program managers, and Scholarship Appeals Committee.
Provides administrative procedures for reviewing applications and determining eligibility in compliance with regulations.
Accurate documentation, communication with appellants, and compliance with Scholarship Appeals regulation for fair assessment of each appeal in a timely manner.
Verify information/data to ensure compliance with Scholarship Appeals regulation and policies. Maintain accurate records/documents using security protocols.
Directly manage and support the Office Operations Coordinator, including the Committee on Student Services meeting schedules, communications, minutes and materials, delegation of office tasks, while ensuring policies, procedures, and workflows are followed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for management of daily office activities by managing the administrative, logistical, and operational tasks of the Office Operations Coordinator.
Supports Office Operations Coordinator to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in providing administrative support for the Office of Student Affairs.
Primary responsibility for the DAYCO Scholarship program in the Barnwell, Williston and Blackville area, including preparation of DAYCO scholarship application, communications and dissemination of information with school administrators within the designated school districts.
Provides administrative procedures for reviewing applications and determining eligibility. Verify information/data to ensure compliance.
Responsible for maintaining up to date files, and invoicing DAYCO Scholarship awards.
Clearly communicate policies, regulations, state statutes, and other scholarship/grant information to a variety of constituents, including office and agency administrators, legislators, parents, students, high school counselors, principals and higher education administrators.
Communicate effectively with the Division and Executive Director, Commission members, staff, legislative staff and constituents.
Communicate with the Director on all assigned responsibilities, including status and progress on assigned projects.
Follow-up shall include communication with the Director on status of all projectsand follow-up within established time schedules.
