This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team located at 2715 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC, 29203, CAMHC #335.
As the Registered Nurse, working under general supervision, you will provide direct clinical/nursing services for the patients participating in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT). As a member of ACT teams, perform assessment, treatment planning and clinical services to stabilize acutely disturbed psychiatric patients. Utilize nursing skills to monitor and administer medications. Position is designed to be performed on an outreach basis and to reduce re-hospitalizations, and over utilization of emergency room, and to enhance community placement and recovery.Responsibilities for the Registered Nurse, Non-Institutional:
