Job Description
The SCADA Team within the Department of Water Resources is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SCADA Intern for Summer 2026. The selected candidate will support the SCADA Engineering team while gaining hands-on experience with SCADA system operations, testing, and troubleshooting. The intern will also develop a foundational understanding of machine control systems and related technologies.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a current engineering student to apply classroom knowledge to real-world operational challenges while building technical, analytical, and professional skills in a collaborative work environment

Essential Duties
  • Assist SCADA Engineer with lab testing, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Learn the basic Operational Technology system, networks, and basic PLC and OIT programming
Hourly rate
$20.36 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering
