Requirements

Your primary responsibility in this role is to support the evaluation, oversight, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations throughout Bucks County.

You will review and assess work plans to ensure a balanced, efficient program and confirm that adequate labor, materials, equipment, and funding are available to complete scheduled tasks.

As operational needs evolve, you will make appropriate adjustments to these plans.

Key duties include reviewing foremen’s payroll submissions and providing guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will also utilize various reports to monitor essential work data—such as completed production units, labor hours, equipment usage, and material consumption—and resolve any discrepancies to keep projects aligned with established work plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Work hours subject to change based on operational needs.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of 40,685 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) or
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
  • An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
