About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
As a Regular Full-Time employee, you have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience dealing with RV storage lots and applying Air Force and State regulations.
Working experience or knowledge of the recreational activities and equipment, rules, and procedures as they relate to an Outdoor Recreation Program.
Position requires computer skills, ability to work with the public. Familiar with basic accounting lines and procedures. Knowledge of office automation software.
Must be physically be able to frequently lift, handle, and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and with assistance, objects up to and over 50 pounds.
Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must be able to complete and maintain a satisfactory National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Must have a valid driver's license and provide a current driving record. This is a drug testing designated position. Major Duties:
Works under the direction of the Supervisory Recreation Specialist who is available to deal with unusual situations which may occur and to provide guidance and instructions when performing new or procedurally complex duties.
Tasks or projects are performed with a minimum of supervision, and incumbent independently performs regular and recurring work managing seven
RV storage lots. Issues space in the RV storage area to authorized customers ensures all priorities are adhered to.
Ensure customers are briefed on their responsibilities and that all documents are completed.
Follows up with the customer on late payments, expired tags, and abandonment of contents, sending expiration and late notices and ensuring proper records are kept.
Maintains files, input financial information in Orbital program for RV Storage. Maintains all aspects of the advance payment records to include monitoring payments.
Maintains rental inventory through Rec Trac System and controls reports on Rec Trac. Update and download individual RV Storage lot computers with authorized customer's information.
Accepts payments, executes transactions, and tracks RV Storage overdue non-payment problems.
Identify and initiate documentation for items to be removed/towed from the RV storage lots according to policies and procedures, arranges with Security forces for the removal of property.
Maintains accurate customer records for assigning RV Storage facilities electronic gate key access system.
Responsible for periodic RV Storage facilities inspections to ensure full compliance of AFI and Operating Instructions, send letters of notification to customers for any parking and storage violations.
Responsible for maintaining RV storage lot grounds, fence repairs, painting parking lines, gate repairs.
Assists in equipment retail sales operations, rental, equipment checkout, campgrounds, pavilions/picnic areas.
Collects cash, receipts, point of sale reports, credit card receipts and other supporting documentation for retail and rentals.
Assists with equipment inventories, issues and receives, items, checks for serviceability.
Assists with preparing cashier reports, ensures reconciliation of assigned cash banks daily, prepares and adheres to budgets and ensures proper accounting for controlled forms.
Ensures all recreational facilities are kept in a neat and orderly manner. If needed drives snowplows, bobcats, and operates variety of outdoor equipment.
Works non-regular shifts including nights and weekends. Performs other related duties as assigned.
