This job is for a lifeguard at an aquatics center on a military base in Alaska, where you'll watch over swimmers, enforce safety rules, perform rescues if needed, and keep the pool area clean and safe.
It's a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in emergencies, and has experience in customer service or water safety.
No advanced education is required, but you'll need to be reliable and physically fit for the role.
This position is located with the Aquatics Center on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses and maintains the following certifications (A copy of each certification must be submitted at the time of application): Lifeguard (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e.
Star Guard or Ellis.) American Red Cross Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional. CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent (i.e. Star Guard or Ellis.) First Aid.
Customer service experience. Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first.
Criteria is verified within the application package. American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent, i.e. Star Guard or Ellis Lifeguard Instructor Certification.
