This position assists in the operation and maintenance of Eagles Rest RV Park in Valdez, Alaska. Work schedule subject but not limited to: Monday - Sunday Incumbent must be 18+ years of age.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs.
Practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules, and procedures in recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned.
Ability and skill in dealing with the public. Must have cash handline experience. Major Duties:
Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities. Establishes schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed.
Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Testing boating equipment for safe operation; demonstrates safety and conservation techniques for campsites and water area; demonstrates equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating; sets up and takes down campsite at the beginning and end of the season, inspects outdoor recreation facilities and equipment for security and general conditions; and schedules campsites, cabins, boats, and other outdoor recreation equipment and areas for use, with responsibility for seeing that they are vacated or returned in good order.
Performs inventory and cash handling duties in accordance with established cash handling and accountability procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
