Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Skill to demonstrate activities and use of related facility equipment. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures.

This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Weekends are required.

Evenings, and some holidays may be required. Major Duties:

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Single Marine Program is designed to improve the Quality of Life for Marines living in the Barracks by providing opportunities for the Marines to engage in recreational activities, clubs and volunteer opportunities.

Based on established policies, this position carries out assigned duties with an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.

Typical assignments may include: Planning and facilitating trips off base. Hosting events on base. Maintaining and executing daily operations at the Single Marine Program facility.

Assisting SMP Coordinator in the planning and execution of events. Assisting SMP Coordinator in marketing and publicizing all Single Marine Program events and activities.

Checks and maintains inventories of supplies and recreation equipment. Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, arranging furniture and disposing of trash.

Notes repairs for supervisor¿s attention and completes necessary reports. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.

Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems.

Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.

Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety equipment, and observes safe work procedures.

Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
