The primary purpose of this position is to serve as supervisor of the Air Force Real Estate Management Division, Accountability Branch Chief.
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-12/13 or equivalent in other pay systems.
Specialized experience is to supervise Real Estate Management Accountability Branch, setting priorities, assigning work, and managing performance to ensure compliant, high-quality execution.
Leads enterprise real property accountability operations, develops policies and metrics, and drives improvements to data integrity in real property systems.
Represents the organization with installations and external partners, briefs senior leaders, and applies expert knowledge of real estate, budgeting, and information systems to resolve issues and deliver results.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.
Knowledge of DAF real estate, asset management, budgeting, and real property information management system principles, practices, techniques, and procedures to effectively supervise DAF real estate accountability uses as the foundation for virtually all strategic capital investments.
2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. 3.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of a small to medium organization. 4.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing using tact and diplomacy by various methods with diverse groups of professionals. 5.
Knowledge of the AF Automated Civil Engineer System, DoD Real Property Inventory Requirement, NexGen IT, and the real property business practices used for the documentation of real property transactions.
6.
Knowledge of DAF and DoD information management systems, databases, and coding sufficient to manage real property accountability for the entire DAF, including reconciliation of inventory and multiple complex accounting activities and to hire additional consultants needed to execute Department of Defense real property accountability initiatives.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

Major Duties:
1. Exercises Supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. 2.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Air Force Real Estate Management Accountability Branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. 3.
Represents Air Force Civil Engineer Center Real Estate Management Division, Accountability Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
