Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

This entry-level role in Pennsylvania's Insurance Department involves reviewing health insurance applications, contracts, and complaints to ensure they follow state rules, while helping resolve issues for consumers and insurers.
You'll collaborate with teams to analyze data, prepare reports, and support oversight of managed care programs.

As a Public Health Program Associate 1, you will become involved with reporting, complaint and grievance resolution, enforcement actions, application and contract review, appeals, network filings, investigations, and quality assurance processes.
You will be responsible for organizing documents needed to review provider contracts, integrated delivery service arrangements, service area expansions, new applications for HMOs or gatekeeper PPOs, and health insurer network adequacy.
Within this role, you may also have the opportunity to assist in preparing cases at complaint/grievance committee meetings and participate as a member of the complaint/grievance committee.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
