Requirements
As a Public Health Program Associate 1, you will support the development and monitoring of quality assurance (QA) and program integrity (PI) initiatives for the WIC Program. Your role will involve creating QAPI tracking mechanisms to analyze impacts on risk management, customer service, and public health outcomes. To integrate these activities into the bureau's culture, you will provide technical assistance and prepare formal statistical reports and numbered memoranda for approval. Working closely with the QAPI Director, you will serve as a primary point of contact for special projects and bureau-wide compliance. These duties include attending regular unit meetings to gain divisional familiarity and managing milestones for the state plan, confidentiality training, and mandated reporter requirements. Through these efforts, you will ensure the bureau maintains high standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in health, social or behavioral sciences, statistics, or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
