The Department of General Services is seeking a senior executive to serve as Deputy Secretary for Facilities and Public Safety.
This role leads one of the Commonwealth’s most visible and complex facility portfolios, including the Capitol Complex and other state-owned properties, while overseeing public safety, operations, and long-term infrastructure strategy.
We are looking for a leader who is comfortable operating in complex environments. Someone who can manage day-to-day operational demands while also driving modernization and long-term improvements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in facilities management, engineering, architecture, construction management, public administration, business administration, criminal justice, or a closely related field; or
An equivalent combination of education, professional training, and executive-level experience in facilities operations, public safety, infrastructure management, or a related discipline.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
