Job Description

Summary

This job involves creating and managing communications materials like videos, graphics, and websites to promote Navy training programs at a school in Rhode Island.

You'll research public opinions, produce engaging content, and ensure everything follows government rules.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the NAVY SUPPLY CORPS SCHOOL of Newport, RI.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing public affairs principles and techniques in communication and marketing; 2) Producing innovative and interesting written materials, presentations, and imagery; 3) Researching, gathering, and interpreting data for release; 4) Collecting and analyzing public opinion to develop recommendations for stimulating interest in agency programs.

  • You will ensure official DoD online websites are up to date with accurate information.
