This job involves overseeing complex military aircraft programs for the Navy, from planning and budgeting to coordinating teams and reporting progress to leaders.
It requires managing resources, risks, and partnerships to ensure projects stay on track and meet goals.
A good fit would be someone with experience leading big projects in defense or engineering, who enjoys problem-solving and working with diverse groups.
You will serve as a Level II PROGRAM MANAGER within a Program Management office under the Program Executive Office Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault & Special Mission (PEO(A)).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in managing and integrating complex, multi-functional programs or projects; 2) Directing day-to-day program operations, including staffing strategies, schedules, organizational structures, and workflow; 3) Establishing, tracking, analyzing, and reporting program or organizational performance metrics; 4) Analyzing, synthesizing, and integrating requirements across multiple functional areas (e.g., engineering, logistics, financial management, configuration management, and contract management) to support acquisition strategy and program execution; 5) Developing, reviewing, and maintaining acquisition and executive-level documentation and reports (e.g., DAES, SAR, CPARs) to support senior leadership decision-making and program oversight.
