Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a science and technology team within the Navy's intelligence office, where you'll advise top leaders, manage programs from planning to execution, and build partnerships to bring new technologies into national security efforts.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Department of the Navy (DON), Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy, Intelligence and Security (DUSN (I&S)), National Security Integration Office (NISO).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing Science & Technology (S&T) strategic planning, requirements development, resources and budget management, research and development and the development of partnerships to employ new technology.

  • You will serve as the principal advisor on all matters pertaining to the Science and Technology Directorate and work directly with senior leaders to establish and communicate priorities of the Directorate and NSIO mission.
  • You will lead all program management efforts, engineering and logistics support teams, contractors and globally deployed personnel and provide expert advice, develop strategies, policies, programs and support for DoD and interagency tasking.
  • You will lead, supervise and coordinate all activities of the Science and Technology Directorate, serving as a liaison between NSIO leadership and all DoD, DON and non-DoD Federal Department and Agency customers on related requirements.
  • You will direct subordinates in the establishment of goals and objectives, work planning, organization, personnel management, and prioritization of all assignments related to NSIO Science and Technology requirements.
  • You will direct and oversee Science and Technology planning, expansion, operational support, acquisitions, contracts, research, development, production, finance, security, training and logistics coordination.
  • You will set clear and achievable standards of service and personally oversee quality control of all documentation and packages originated, managed, and submitted by Science and Technology personnel.
