About the Position: Serves as Chief of the Military Project Office.
Responsible for the program and project management activities related to execution of the District's large, complex and diversified Military Programs.
The programs involve investigations, planning, design and construction for the Air Force and other Department of Defense agencies characterized as highly visible with multiple complexities of technical issues, political interest, public impact and environmental sensitivity.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working with Project Delivery Business Processes and tools; experience with project and program management of vertical design projects Military Construction/ Sustainment Restoration Modernization Interagency (MILCON/SRM), or related military programs; and experience working with program and project and program budgets and schedules.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
