This job involves coordinating complex defense programs by working closely with high-level government groups like the military branches, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement to develop policies, build relationships, and provide expert advice on operations and planning.
It's a senior role where you'll represent the organization in briefings up to the Secretary of Defense level and help shape decisions without clear guidelines.

You will serve as a PROGRAM COORDINATOR within NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-15) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1).
Coordinating with DoD components, to include the Services, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands and Defense Agencies; 2).
Developing, implementing, and directing operational solutions and procedures where no specific or substantive guidelines or policies exist; 3).
Developing and maintaining long-term relationships at executive levels with disparate elements of the DoD, IC, Federal Law Enforcement, and other government agencies; 4).
Providing problem and requirement definition, opportunity identification, coordination, and collaboration with the IC, JS, and OSD concerning intelligence, policy guidance, and authority support required for targeting, planning, risk assessment, and project execution.

Coordinating engagements with senior program coordinators to obtain current and validated intelligence, requirements, policy guidance, and authorities required to support mission planning, concept development, and project executions.
