This job involves advising senior leaders on strategic planning for the Navy's security cooperation efforts, including developing long-term plans, managing projects, and handling foreign military sales processes.
It requires coordinating initiatives between the Department of Navy and Defense to meet program goals and solve challenges.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government or military planning who enjoys leading studies, briefing stakeholders, and innovating solutions for complex security issues.
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST, STRATEGIC PLANNER in the ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY (ASN) RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, AND ACQUISITION (RD&A) DIVISION of NIPO FMS FIELD OFFICE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience with DOD and DON strategic planning, policies, and procedures governing Security Cooperation.
*Experience with the process of development and coordination of DON Security Cooperation planning initiatives. *Experience working Navy programs and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process.
