Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves creating and managing policies for Navy and Marine Corps personnel matters, such as recruiting, keeping service members, and handling benefits or retirements.
You'll analyze how well programs work, suggest improvements, and prepare reports or briefings for leaders.
It's a great fit for someone with experience in military human resources or policy who enjoys problem-solving and working in a government team.
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY of ASSTSECNAV M&RA WASHINGTON DC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing, implementing, and overseeing policy for military personnel in at least 2 of the following: military recruiting, accessions, force management, retention, compensation and benefits, separations, retirements, or quality of life.
Experience preparing reports, position papers, presentations, talking points, and/or memoranda. Experience developing policy positions and responses to actions originating from different requestors.
