Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Dallas Division.
This position(s) primary purpose is designed to support management of substantive programs by analyzing, developing, and evaluating criteria for existing and projected programs, policies, and procedures, which impact program objectives and personnel.

Applicants applying for the GS-13 must meet one of the following requirements: A.
Have at least one full year of specialized experience that is at least equivalent to work performed at the GS-12 grade level.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Qualifying experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with the studies of operation programs, policies and procedures related to an organization's workforce; 2) Assessing efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce program through quantitative and qualitative data collection and data analysis; 3) Implementing action plans to improve programs performance; 4) Monitoring programs progress toward achieving strategic organizational goals and program objectives.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Major Duties:
As a your typical work assignments may include: Conducting management and program analysis in support of strategic planning, program performance assessments, and operational analysis.
Leading and/or participating in studies to improve assigned programs and/or influence policy changes that are typically long-range and highly complex.
Monitoring changes to DEA policies and operational guidance and ensures their compliance within the division, which includes coordination of communication.
Serving as an expert advisor to the Senior Program Analyst in supporting the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) on personnel, manpower and human capital program objectives, policies and technical matters.
Identifying organizational conflicts or issues and corrects errors or recommends options for program conflict resolution.
