Gor the GS-13, one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Specialized experience is defined as analyzing government property accountability, including agency logistics property management regulations and policies; assessing capital asset values; analyzing depreciation data; and developing long-term organizational planning reporting methodologies for a property management section.

Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.

Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service.

You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Major Duties:

  • Oversee and manages the development, implementation, and continuing operations of innovative logistics support strategies and tactics for providing critical GF and DWCF depreciation management services and for managing agency wide accountability.
  • Directs and oversee the Accountable Property Officers (APO) workflow processes.
  • Manages the development, implementation, and enforcement of cost-effective sustainable logistics solutions for the management, accountability, and control of DISA program.
  • Manages and directs depreciation management initiatives, programs, projects, support products, and services.
  • Coordinates the efforts of the FGGM Property Section’s Accountable Property Officers (APOs). Ensures that administrative staff has the necessary training, equipment, and support to meet daily requirements.
