Job Description

Summary

This job involves analyzing programs in the Navy's Operations Department at Pearl Harbor, where you'll study processes, gather data, and suggest improvements to make operations more efficient.

You'll also handle budgeting, staffing projections, and ways to avoid delays in production work.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing analysis of administrative programs including gathering and analyzing data on program activities, developing reports on program effectiveness, and providing recommendations to leadership for program enhancements.

  • You will make recommendations on matters pertaining to funding and budgets, material cost and expenditures, equipment, training, and other requirements needed to support production work.
  • You will attempt to eliminate potential bottlenecks to minimize effects of work stoppages or delays encountered.
