The Procurement Specialist 3 will play a crucial role in the strategic planning, development, and coordination of the review and analysis of contract and grant documents that involve substantial financial commitments, often reaching into the millions of dollars.
These contracts and grants are essential for providing services to thousands of individuals across the commonwealth.
The specialist will engage in a comprehensive range of analytical and consultative functions related to procurement development, process management, and oversight for program offices during the proposal and contract formulation stages.
This includes the creation and finalization of complex and politically sensitive IT and IT-related contracts and grants.
The specialist will offer expert guidance on various critical components, such as the formulation of statements of work, the establishment of pricing methodologies, the development of performance metrics, and the criteria for evaluating proposals, ensuring that all aspects align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week. Tuesdays are a mandatory office day.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
