Job Description

Summary

Key Requirements

  • Experience assisting or implementing clause changes in automated procurement systems
  • Ability to respond to questions from contracting personnel on clause usage
  • Support as a functional administrator for procurement systems, including establishing profiles and access per security and regulatory restrictions
  • For higher grades (GS-11/12): Providing input into developing electronic procurement systems

  • At the GS-07/GS-09/GS-11, you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the full performance level (GS-12), you will perform the following:
  • You will conduct regular reviews of clauses used in automated and manual procurements.
  • You will ensure format codes include mandated clauses and provisions based on contract type and clause prescriptions.
  • You will serve as the functional administrator for automated procurement systems, including establishing profiles and access consistent with security and regulatory restrictions.
  • You will provide administrative and technical support toward the development and operation of information technology applications related to contracting functions.
  • You will be responsible for making recommendations of best practices for implementation of acquisition systems.
