Under the general direction of the Procurement Manager, this position performs at the full performance level in volume purchasing of a variety of goods and services used in the operation of the agency.

This position is responsible for the initialization of work effort in procuring various administrative items.

Duties include but are not limited to: Processes requisitions and p-card requests, creation, review, and award of request for quotations to the lowest vendor meeting specifications, state contract releases, sole source, and similar transactions.

Checks databases for required compliance of various state laws and code, and prepares documents for submission to state purchasing for transactions valued in excess of agency delegated value; does standard procurement provided grant format.

Will process 1099 adjustments when due. Performs related work as required.

Knowledge and experience in complying with Department of Administration, Purchasing Division rules and regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.
AND

Substitution: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience.
