This job involves managing the buying process for goods, services, and tech for a South Carolina state agency, including creating bids, reviewing proposals, awarding contracts, and handling ongoing issues to get the best value while following state rules.

A Bachelor's degree in Business (non-specific) and five (5) years of experience in SC Government procurement using South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) – Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
An in-depth knowledge and experience with the South Carolina Procurement Code. Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB).
In depth knowledge and experience in state government procurement and state procurement procedures. Knowledge and experience with South Carolina Procurement Code.
A working knowledge of general office procedures to include proficiency in operating computers and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to identify and analyze factors related to the awarding of contracts. Ability to train end users communicate effectively.
