Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Job Purpose:
Visits existing business and industry to determine needs, problems and concerns in a designated region of the state.
Consults with business executives and presents information and resources to provide solutions to company needs. Coordinates and evaluates in-house and statewide resources for assistance.
Job Responsibilities:
A bachelor's degree and relevant work experience and/or three to five years of relevant work experience.
Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with South Carolina's business and industry community.
Ability to assess business operations, opportunity and related industry outlook. Experience in private sector business and industry, sales, service or manufacturing a plus.
Excellent communications skills (both written and oral). Ability to organize information, set priorities and manage multiple engagements and complex follow-up activities.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
Must have valid driver's license. Some overnight travel is required.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) databases a plus.
