Summary

This job is for an operations assistant at a bowling center on a U.S. Army base in Hawaii, where you'll help run daily activities like handling cash, serving customers, and setting up events.

Full Job Description

This position is located at MWR Schofield Bowling Center, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (Island of Oahu). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Minimum Qualifications: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.

Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements (21 years of age) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.

Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively. *Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above.*.

Major Duties:

  • Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds.
  • Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations.
  • Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag.
  • Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.
  • May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
