Full Job Description

You will serve as a Non-Nuclear Ship Systems Inspector in Code 613 of the Quality Assurance Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

  • You will perform inspections and tests on non-nuclear mechanical, piping, and structural systems, including subassemblies and component parts related to deep diving submarines.
  • You will participate in the conduct of audits and in-process surveillances, submit reports and recommend corrective action to discrepancies.
  • You will inspect the layout of needed routing, placement, pitch, incline, or elevations of systems or equipment to achieve optimal results.
  • You will conduct pretest and final inspections after systems and component repairs are complete.
  • You will verify, witness, and document the installation and replacement of software and hardware as required by specifications.
