This job involves leading a team of mechanics in repairing and maintaining electronic control systems for industrial equipment, especially in a naval shipyard setting.
You'll guide workers on tasks, ensure safety, and handle troubleshooting using electrical knowledge.
It's a good fit for experienced electricians or mechanics with strong leadership skills who enjoy hands-on technical work in a team environment.
You will serve as a Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic Leader in Shop 6 in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
