Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S.
Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations, National Air Security Operations Center (NASOC), located in Corpus Christi, TX.
Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Applying established practices to specific administrative problems which involve many variables.
Conducting independent evaluations on administrative functions and preparing study findings, recommendations, and reports.
Providing advice on a variety of administrative and management programs and procedures.
Making agreements and commitments at meetings and during telephone discussions in accordance with previously received functions.
Performing liaison functions with other organizations, including effectively presenting the organization's needs and establishing harmonious working relations with counterparts.

Join Air and Marine Operations and utilize your expertise in a variety of mission support functions applying a wide-range of concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical diagnostic methods.
This position starts at a salary of $89,943.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $116,929.00 (GS-12, Step 10).
Typical duties include: Assisting supervisors with mission support functions and providing guidance on human capital related problems and issues.
Assisting employees with time and attendance & travel card statement review and verifying accuracy.
Identifying, evaluating, and recommending, to management appropriate interventions to resolve complex interrelated human capital problems and issues.
Serving as a liaison with FM&E in planning facility maintenance processes and briefing management on various facility/property issues in accordance with CBP and AMO policy.
