The Department of Administration's (Admin) Office of Technology and Information Services (OTIS) is the state’s central provider of IT services to state government agencies.
We are growing and now is a great time to join State Government! We are seeking a talented Microsoft 365/ Intune Engineer to join our team.
This role is an integral part of our Workplace Services team, working alongside professionals dedicated to this technology stack.
In this role you will primarily support our Office 365 environment as well as work to ensure our cloud identities are secured and following best practices.
You will establish documentation and procedures that will be used by both tier 1 and tier 2 support staff to support the various Office 365 modules.
This position is on site in Columbia, SC
Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) and conditional access policies directed by the architecture team. Manage enterprise apps, identity protection, and role-based access.
Configure and monitor Purview compliance tools, DLP, and retention. Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation with security teams.
Work with architect, management, and various departments to manage Microsoft 365 tenant, including identity, security, compliance, and service configurations.
Assist with the development of governance policies for Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and Entra ID. Ensure alignment with Division of Information Security and Admin requirements.
