Full Job Description

This is a full-time position with the Marshal's Office at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C.

Prior background in dealing with public, communications system training, mail handling, public speaking and general administration background is desirable.

Ability to deal courteously with the public is required. Major Duties:

Two-year term appointment. The Marshal's Aide performs a wide variety of complex and highly technical administrative duties for the Marshal's Office of the Supreme Court.

Performs other duties as required in Chambers and other Court offices. Sets up and maintains the Courtroom, performs as Courtroom attendant and usher.

Assists in preparation for official Court functions. Frequently interacts with high-level government officials and the public.
