This job is for a marketing assistant at a military base in New Jersey, where you'll help with tasks like researching customer needs, creating and distributing promotional materials, managing social media, and taking photos at events.
It's a supportive role in a team that promotes base services and programs.
A good fit would be someone organized, good at communicating, comfortable with computers and basic photography, and eager to learn new tools in a fast-paced environment.
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Marketing Facility at McGuire AFB, New Jersey. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have exceptional writing and organizational skills.
Experience must demonstrate ability to communicate well with co-workers and internal and external customers, and perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Above-average computer literacy with ability to learn new computer-based technologies, programs and processes required.
General knowledge of DSLR cameras and concept of photography required; video camera operation and editing a plus.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Provides general assistance in support of the marketing function of the Force Support Squadron (FSS).
Under the direction of the Marketing Director, assists in conducting market research, survey administration and on-site data collection.
Assists in gathering general information from FSS flight chiefs and activity managers and/or programmers.
Ensures delivery of marketing collateral to include print product and digital content base-wide to select point-of-sales. Assists in preparing briefings and trainings.
Monitors, maintains and updates marketing's social media outlets and smart phone applications. May often attend and photograph FSS events, programs and services.
