Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team of engineers and staff to manage and improve facilities and infrastructure at a naval command, including planning projects for upkeep, upgrades, and new builds.

You'll coordinate with other military groups on design and construction while handling budgets, people, and technical details.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a MANAGER in the Corporate Operations Department (10), Infrastructure Division (102), Facilities Branch (1021) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

This position may be eligible for Supervisory Pay Differential fo up to Four (4) percent.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer, leading design or construction management operations to coordinate sustainment, restoration, modernization (SRM) programs for the improved efficiency and execution of engineering projects.

  • You will be responsible for the internal facilities A/E design and construction management.
  • You will be responsible for all technical, human capital, and financial management matters within the Branch.
