Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a manager leading a team that plans and oversees the Navy's workforce, including civilians, military personnel, and contractors, to ensure the right skills are in place for missions.
It involves forecasting needs, managing data, and aligning programs with priorities to fill any gaps in expertise.
A good fit would be someone with experience in human resources or strategic planning in a large organization, especially in government or defense, who enjoys leading teams and solving complex staffing challenges.
You will serve as a MANAGER in the TOTAL FORCE MANAGEMENT DIVISON CODE 81 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide assistance in strategic workforce planning and forecasting; managing workforce data and enterprise data calls; aligning programs to mission priorities; developing Total Force strategies (civilian, military, contractor) to sustain continuity, build specialized expertise, and close critical skill and/or capability gaps.
NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
