Job Description

Summary

This role involves leading a division that provides supportive services within the county's behavioral health and recovery department, overseeing programs that help individuals with mental health and substance use challenges access housing, employment, and other essential resources.

A good fit would be an experienced manager with a background in social services or healthcare administration who is passionate about community recovery and skilled at team leadership.

The position is based in Modesto, California, and focuses on coordinating services to promote long-term stability for clients.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, behavioral health, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in behavioral health or supportive services management
  • Proven leadership skills in supervising multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for mental health and recovery services
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
