Full Job Description

The Risk Management Office is seeking a Management Technician to review and process information related to the issuance of certificates of title, registration plates, and registration cards for stolen vehicles using the CLEAN and NCIC systems.

Requirements

In this role, you will review and process National Crime Information Center (NCIC) data and place Administrative Stops on stolen vehicle records when appropriate.

You will coordinate and administer the Department’s use of the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) system, including reviewing and approving access requests for both internal and external users.

This includes obtaining and maintaining CLEAN certification, evaluating background information for prospective users, and exercising discretion in granting system access.

As the Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC), you will monitor daily compliance with CLEAN and NCIC policies and regulations, ensuring that all requirements are met.

You will also distribute updates and relevant information to the appropriate staff.

Additionally, you will process motor vehicle applications related to stolen vehicle cases in the Commonwealth Automated Registration and Title System (CARATS) and the Modernized Vehicle and Driver License System (MVDLS), ensuring the accurate issuance of certificates of title, registration plates, and registration cards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Must be available to work during early dismissals.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time upon successful completion of probationary period.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.


Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
