Full Job Description

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in support of the United States Coast Guard (USGC) Project Resident Office of SUPSHIP GULF COAST.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing contract data deliverables to identify and resolve issues with contractor performance or compliance for the design, testing, construction, operation, or modernization of surface ships.

  • You will be responsible for all aspects of reviewing and analyzing the overall technical and non-technical contract data deliverables required by the National Security Cutter (NSC).
  • You will demonstrate an understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives.
  • You will plan, monitor and support the development of engineering and technical deliverables to ensure early integration in the ship design process for the National Security Cutter (NSC), Legends Class ships.
  • You will review, analyze, evaluate, control and report the status of all technical contract data deliverables provided under the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) throughout the life of the contracts.
  • You will participate in configuration audits and data calls to assure that the shipbuilders and subcontractors are in compliance with the contract specifications and schedules for contract data deliverables.
  • You will monitor contractor's performance from contract award to contract termination to ensure all contract deliverables are provided as required by contract.
  • You will provide direct assistance to the Validation and Verification Engineer/Director and the PMR in analyzing and resolving data related questions and problems in the form of periodic metrics reflecting the current on schedule and overdue CDRLS.
  • You will adapt to many new initiatives associated in the design, development, construction, and life cycle support of the NSC ships.
