About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f.

Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.

This position is located at the Fort Meade, Maryland. CYBER EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITIONS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE TWO-PAGE RESUME LIMIT.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by demonstrated by managing and processing directorate training requirements; planning, organizing and developing readiness assessment processes; conducting comprehensive analysis to prepare solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations; and utilizing internal and external resource management systems to document and disseminate information on training-related throughout the organization.

Major Duties:

  • Serve as division liaison on issues relating to readiness information and knowledge management, logistics, personnel administration, and readiness and assessment planning.
  • Manage and processes directorate training requirements, to include consolidating and submitting all directorate training requirements
  • Oversee the reporting of Commands J5’s operational readiness posture through monthly, quarterly, and annual processes.
  • Determine the specific objectives of each new, non-routine tasking within the training program element, and advises the supervisor and reporting seniors as to appropriate response to support the mission
  • Ensures team leads and team members apply the necessary high degree of skill, not only in analysis of the disparate inputs relevant to cyber operations
