Full Job Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIVprimarily supporting the Air Vehicle IPT in PMA 271.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Managing all Integrated Logistics Support Elements across the total life cycle of the weapons system. 2.

Identifying deficiencies and creating mitigation steps to ensure weapons readiness. 3.

Managing and defending logistics financial resources management to include understanding requirements, planning, and execution. 4. Managing technical directives delivered to the Fleet customer. 5.

Applying logistics principles and practices to ensure the total integration of product support elements to meet program requirements. 6.

Participating in the Configuration Management Process by developing, reviewing, and submitting associated documentation in support of Engineering Change Proposals, Configuration Control Board (CCB) Presentations, and Technical Directives.

7. Assisting in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e., statements of work and contract data requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition phases.

  • You will ensure all Air Vehicle Systems Safety Deficiency and Technical Insertion OSIP requirements are properly planned, implemented, and documented.
  • You will provide oversight to Logistics Element Managers and Subject Matter Experts, maintenance and logistics planning, production, and deployment of the Air Vehicle Systems cognizant equipment during the acquisition, operations, and support phases.
  • You will facilitate, manage and organize Production Reviews with Original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure cost effective and timely repair and overhaul of E-6B repairables.
  • You will perform as Reliability Control Board (RCB) Degrader Action Cell (DAC) Lead.
  • You will provide support to the Fleet and Wing representatives as required or requested in all matters pertaining to current/future E-6B Air Vehicle Systems modification programs.
  • You will provide technical inputs to ECPs/TDs and configuration management processes. Coordinates with contractor production and management representatives during development, test, evaluation and deployment periods.
