Full Job Description

This position serves as a Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff in the Justice Management Division, Budget Staff, Office of the Director located in Washington, DC.

This position would help the Director manage the workflow of the front office, coordinate cross-Staff projects, and create and manage special projects on behalf of the Director for the entire Budget Staff.

To qualify for the position of Management and Program Analyst (Senior Advisor), at GS-0343-15, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Developing qualitative or quantitative methods to plan, integrate, or evaluate agency programs; Developing budgetary or financial policies; and Developing ways to resolve problems or issues which directly affect the program goals or objectives.

The duties and responsibilities for a Management and Program Analyst (Senior Advisor), GS-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Track and manage cross-Staff initiatives and projects.

Deconflict and coordinate cross-Staff products. Develop cross-Staff efforts at recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining employees.

Serve as senior liaison to Department leadership and staff to resolve program issues. Approve budget requests and spend plans. Prepare reports and presentations on program planning and evaluation.
