WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Provide advisory services to management officials on staffing, recruitment, and/or classification to support sound personnel decisions.
Develop and/or revise position descriptions to ensure accurate classification and alignment with organizational needs.
Initiate personnel actions, including appointments, promotions, reassignments, and/or other HR actions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Serve as the Drug-Free Workplace Program Point of Contact, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining required documentation, protecting confidentiality, and/or updating program procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY Researches, develops, creates, and recommends administrative policies, procedures, and milestones sufficient to execute the organization's mission.
Serves as Liaison with OHR for HR management activities by Collaborating with OHR leadership on personnel actions to include position establishments, recruitment actions, promotions, reassignments, and retirements; on the evaluation of personnel qualifications in order to provide advice to management to ensure that skill sets and experience fulfills mission requirements; and the development of new policies.
As a Drug Free Workplace program POC ensure compliance with federal regulations, maintaining required documentation for audits, protecting employee confidentiality, and updating standard operating procedures in alignment with policy changes.
Lead the HR Liaison Branch by assigning and monitoring workload, ensuring quality and timeliness of work products, coaching and training staff, resolving informal issues, representing the team in meetings, advising management on HR actions, and ensuring alignment with organizational mission, strategic goals, and performance standards.
