About the Position:. This position is located at Naval Health Clinic (NHC) Patuxent River, Maryland, within the Quality and Patient Safety department.

The incumbent will serve as a Management and Program Analyst who works in a standard office environment supporting the full spectrum of accreditation, performance improvement, and healthcare data analysis programs for the MTF.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Assist in managing an accreditation compliance program (e.g., TJC, CMS, AAAHC), 2) Analyzing a variety of data performed by personnel in functionally different but interrelated operation throughout the organization that impact data quality 3) Utilizing model methods to ensure uniformity across the different functions within a complex medical organization 4) Serve in a team leadership role, providing guidance to peers or junior staff on data analysis tasks.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database Management Systems Human Resources Management Performance Measurement Quality Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Major Duties:

  • Manage all The Joint Commission (TJC), regulatory accreditation activities.
  • Serve as the command’s lead liaison during official TJC surveys.
  • Oversee the facility-wide Performance Improvement program.
  • Provide performance improvement consulting to department chiefs.
  • Collect administrative data from multiple health systems.
  • Produce reports that all leadership to make policy updates.
  • Conduct supervisory duties.
